Gemini Visibility Tracker: Is Your Brand in the Answers?
Track whether Gemini mentions your brand, no add-on required: weekly score, competitors, reputation and sources, starting from a free one-minute audit.
Pythie’s Gemini tracker measures whether Google’s AI assistant mentions your brand on your buyers’ questions, then follows the evolution every week. Gemini is included in the base plan, no add-on: far from the market norm. It all starts with a free one-minute audit, no account needed.
What the Gemini tracker measures
Every week, Pythie asks Gemini a bank of buyer questions from your market, never naming your brand, with several runs per question. You get:
- Your Gemini visibility score, weighted by the position of each mention, tracked over time.
- The ranking of brands mentioned on your questions: your share of voice against every competitor.
- Your reputation: what Gemini praises and criticizes when it talks about you, excerpts included.
- The sources it cites, and this is where Gemini stands apart from every other engine.
Why Gemini deserves its own tracker
The audience first: the Gemini app passed 900 million monthly users in May 2026, doubling in a year, backed by the entire Google ecosystem. Then its unique signature: according to Yext’s October 2025 study, 52.1% of Gemini’s citations come from brands’ own websites, the highest proportion of the three major engines. Your own pages count double there, and our Gemini tracking guide details how to make the most of it.
Finally, a tooling caveat: at several vendors, the Gemini assistant is a premium engine, sold as a paid add-on or limited to a restricted engine choice. Pythie includes it in the base plan (49-59 USD/month), on par with ChatGPT and Perplexity.
How to start
- Run the free audit: 10 questions from your market asked to all three engines, the verdict in one minute, Gemini included.
- Refine your question bank in the app, up to 15 in weekly tracking.
- Read the scan every week: score, competitors, advice, and the gaps between engines, often spectacular, to prioritize your efforts.
Frequently asked questions
Is Gemini really included, at no extra cost?
Yes. The base plan tracks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, with no per-engine add-on. On other tools, the Gemini assistant costs 9 to 149 USD/month as an option, or takes up one of your limited engine choices: our tool comparison details who includes what.
Does the tracker cover AI Overviews and AI Mode?
No: Pythie tracks the Gemini assistant (gemini.google.com and the app), not the AI answers embedded in Google Search. Since AI Mode is powered by Gemini and leans on the same ecosystem, the visibility you build in the assistant is the best groundwork for the rest of Google’s AI surfaces.
Why do my Gemini and ChatGPT scores diverge?
Because the two engines do not read the same web: Gemini favors brand sites, ChatGPT favors directories and established references. We have measured the same brand at 100% visibility on one and 30% on the other. That is exactly why a per-engine score, never a global average, is the only reliable reading.
