Data we collect

The free audit collects your email address and the analyzed domain. Reports cover brands and public answers from AI engines, not people.

For customer accounts: login data (via Better Auth) and billing data (via Polar).

Purposes

Delivering your audit report, contacting you about the product, and operating the subscribed service. Legal bases: your consent for the free audit, the waitlist and follow-up contact (you give us your email), performance of the contract for the subscribed service, and our legitimate interest for site security and audience measurement.

Processors

Cloudflare (hosting), Convex (database), Better Auth (self-hosted authentication on our Convex backend, hosted in the EU / eu-west-1), Google (OAuth sign-in), Polar (payment), Resend (emails). Engine answers are collected through the OpenAI, Google and Perplexity APIs.

Application data is hosted by Convex in the European Union (AWS, eu-west-1 region, Ireland). Cloudflare operates its global delivery network. Polar and Resend are US companies: transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Retention periods

Free audit and waitlist: your email and the analyzed domain are kept for 3 years after your last contact with Pythie, then deleted. Customer accounts: data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, then archived as long as legal obligations require, notably for invoicing. Engine answers, which cover brands and not people, are kept as long as the report remains accessible. Cancelling your subscription does not delete your data: monitoring pauses and your past reports stay accessible, and resubscribing resumes monitoring with your history intact. Deleting your account erases all of it; Polar invoicing records are kept only for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, objection: write to contact@pythie.ai. You can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) if you disagree.
